Hands Give Shape is the title of an ongoing project for exploring gestures as an approach for controlling sound creation and shaping in space. The development of an appropriate sensordevices with which the movement of an artist can be tracked is hereby as important as the analysis of the gesture itself and the transcription to a sound synthesis algorithm.
